Ever considered how your digital data is collected, used, or shared? Join us for a free, full-day workshop to explore this topic! Do you ever wonder how your digital data is collected, used, or shared? Join us for a free, full-day workshop (9:30am-4:30pm) at Lancaster University that explores the ethical implications of digital profiling and dataveillance (surveillance through data). This interactive workshop is open to all members of the public, regardless of background or experience. Through engaging discussions and group activities, you’ll gain insights into: How your digital data is generated and used. Privacy concerns in the digital age. How research involving personal digital data can be made more ethical. We invite you to contribute to valuable discussions on shaping ethical research practices for a better digital future. Cost: Free (including refreshments and lunch). Parking: Free! (There is ANPR on Lancaster campus however, for this event we are able to submit exemption sessions for any attendees, all you need to do is provide your registration with us upon arrival).
