DESCRIPTION:Innovate UK is running a free virtual briefing on Tuesday 21 July at 4pm for its Global Incubator Programme focused on the video gaming sector in Canada. \nThis is a fully funded acceleration programme (not a cash grant) for up to 8 UK games companies. It includes two week-long trips to Montreal — in November 2026 and February 2027 — with support from incubator partner La Piscine. The November trip includes attendance at the Montreal International Gaming Summit (MIGS)\, Canada’s flagship games event. \nThe programme covers flights\, accommodation and airport transfers for one representative per company. There’s a £2\,000 commitment fee refunded on completion. Applications are open until 14 August 2026. \nThe focus is on companies with commercial traction looking to expand internationally. Eligible tech areas include game engines\, real-time rendering\, 3D/graphics\, spatial audio\, cross-platform tools\, virtual production and remote production tech.
