BMVA Symposium on AI for Visual Arts — a rare deep-dive for artists and researchers, 16 December
The British Machine Vision Association is running a one-day symposium on AI for Visual Arts on Wednesday 16 December 2026 — one of the more technically serious events out there for people working at the AI/image boundary.
Invited speakers include Prof. Yi-Zhe Song (University of Surrey, known for sketch-based AI), Prof. Neill Campbell, Dr Aaron Hertzmann (Adobe Research, TBC) and Prof. Marcus du Sautoy OBE (Oxford, TBC). Chaired by Dr Deblina Bhattacharjee (University of Bath).
Still time to present — the expression-of-interest deadline for talks is 14 October 2026. If you’re doing research, R&D or production work on generative models, style transfer, computer vision for art or related areas, this is one of the few UK venues where that work gets a serious hearing.
Registration is via the BMVA site.
