Introduction to Projection Mapping — Focal Point, New Brighton

A practical Level 1 projection mapping workshop led by the Focal Studios team at Focal Point Creative Technology Hub in New Brighton.

This session uses real client briefs and project examples — including the team’s Legends of Spring installation at St Luke’s Bombed Out Church for Liverpool’s Lunar New Year 2025, which used three high-powered projectors producing around 95,000 lumens.

The workshop covers the full process: understanding the building and brief, equipment placement, content mapping onto architecture, and making sure everything works when the audience arrives.

No previous projection mapping experience required.
