GaMaYo returns to Wakefield this November — 400+ northern indie devs, 50+ playable games, and the Game Republic Awards reveal
The North’s biggest and friendliest indie games gathering is back. GaMaYo lands at WX in Wakefield on Thursday 26 November 2026, bringing together more than 400 developers for a day of demos, roundtables, and networking — plus the reveal of this year’s Game Republic Awards winners.
Over 50 new and unreleased games will be playable on the show floor, with roundtables covering pitching, getting published, managing your finances, and more. Publishers and investors will be in the room, so it’s a solid one if you’re shopping a project around.
GaMaYo is run by Game Republic with partners Red Kite Games, Double Eleven and Xsolla. If you’re not already a member of GaMaYo or Game Republic, you can apply to join the network or grab a free ticket via the Great Northern Games Discord or the GaMaYo Facebook group. Membership info for Game Republic is at gamerepublic.net/join-us.
